Vintage Kyosho R/C 1/8 Dash Race Car Chassis Remote Control 1970s MEGA RARE

  

As can be seen, there is no engine here, and there are several electrical servo/ speed control components I cannot verify if original to car, nor if they are in working order. The chassis itself is in great condition, with only the lightest of wear and tear from age and use. All the chassis plates, hardware, linkages and brake components all look to be in excellent shape.

The only issue I could find is the battery holder needs a much more thorough cleaning due to some vintage Radio Shack batteries that had corroded many years ago. There is a small spot of corrosion finish loss on the chassis plate right next to battery tray (see pictures).

Tires are all in fair shape, although the rims look to have been hand painted at one time or another. From my research, the body on this does not appear to be original to the car. It has the look on an 80's drag race car, with a Chevy emblem on the hood. As can be seen, there is also no remote control included.

Again, do not know which electrical components are original to the car, and which ones may have been added later on to car. These Kyosho Dash R/C cars are some of the rarest R/C cars out there, and this would be an absolutely perfect piece to restore, or even to use as parts for another Kyosho Dash project.
